Old Character Concept Art
These concepts were created nearly twenty years ago and the original Photoshop files are long gone. Even back then I pushed for detail in every sketch, maybe a little too much, but that drive shaped the foundation of my artistic approach today. I’m old school, starting with pencil sketches and then painting and refining them in Photoshop.
Character: Sicario
I created this character without a specific project in mind, inspired by the mood and lighting of baroque painting. The design began as a small sketch I found in one of my old sketchbooks.

Character: Unnamed
Little Soldier was developed for Ubuntu, a group project with other artists I met online. I created this concept as a visual target, though the 3D model was never finished.

Character: KILL
This character is called KILL, an offensive hand grenade designed as one half of a pair. His counterpart, Destroy, was meant to be the defensive grenade. I never had the chance to develop Destroy, but maybe one day.

Character: Poseidon
I created this character mainly to share on CGTalk, which was the popular art forum at the time, and to add new work to my portfolio.
