Werewolf Traditional Illustration (18×24)
This piece explores the duality between instinct and restraint, life and decay. Created with pencil, Copic markers, and pen on illustration paper, it depicts a feral character seated in a throne like setting, surrounded by symbols of mortality including skulls, bones, a preserved brain, and a severed heart in a chalice.

The beer bottles in the scene represent the temptations of self destruction. They symbolize the habits and escapes we turn to when we are at our weakest. The werewolf is the beast some of us carry inside, the side of ourselves that we constantly fight to calm and contain. It emerges when discipline fails, when we try to quiet the mind or numb the pain.

The word LIVE carved above him and the inscriptions INSPIRE and REGRET NOTHING below reflect a mindset of embracing creation, chaos, and consequence without apology.

I enjoy working traditionally because it allows me to build atmosphere and texture by hand, layer by layer, and channel raw emotion directly onto the page.
